Carnation Yellow Seeds
Info: Carnation Yellow is a yellow variety with pretty, light yellow ruffled flowers, which have a lovely fragrance. The flowers form a decorative contrast to the dense, grey-green foliage and are an excellent addition to the flower garden, especially for the edges of borders and flower beds. The yellow carnation is also suitable as a cut flower.
Carnations originate from the Western Balkans and are small perennial perennials. In Central Europe, however, they are mainly cultivated only for one year.
Sowing & care: Sowing starts in pre-culture from March in pots or trays. Only cover lightly with soil, press and keep moist. From mid-May, plant out at a spacing of 20-25 cm. The flowers become larger when the side buds are broken out. Carnations prefer a sunny location and a nutrient-rich soil.
