Info: Agastache Lavender Blue, also called Mexican Giant Hyssop, is native of southern United States and an attractive perennial plant that produces lavender blue, bottle brush-like flowers that can reach a height up to one metre. The plants bloom from early summer to early fall. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Giant Hyssop is an excellent cut flower.
Sowing & care: Sow from March under cover or from May outdoors. Cover the seeds only slightly with fine seed compost. Plant out at 30-40cm spacing. Agastache grows best in a sunny to half-shady position and in moderately fertile, well-drained soil which is kept on the dry side.

Sehr schöne Pflanze und ein wahrer Bienenmagnet
Im Frühjahr vorgezogen und im Topf gehalten haben sich alle Pflanzen prächtig entwickelt. Durch ihre langanhaltende Blüte war sie diesen Sommer fester Anflugplatz von Bienen und Hummeln bis in den September hinein. Sonnige Südausrichtung war kein Problem, obwohl die jenigen Pflanzen die teilweise Schatten abbekommen haben kräftiger gewachsen sind.
