Lobelia Cambridge Blue Seeds
Info: Lobelia Cambridge Blue is a pretty, rich-flowering lobelia with lovely light blue cool coloured flowers. The compact plants (height 10-15 cm) are covered with tiny flowers throughout the summer and are particularly suitable for pots and tubs.
Lobelias originate from the Cape region of South Africa. Due to their compact and dense habit and the long flowering period until October, they are ideal for pots and balcony boxes and the hanging varieties for hanging baskets. It is important that the lobelias are always kept evenly moist. Besides they are happy about a sunny spot, because then they produce most of the flowers. Fertilize regularly.
Sowing & care: Sow seeds from March on the surface of a good seed compost and gently firm down. Keep soil damp but not wet. Do not exclude light, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 14-21 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant in bunches of 3 or 4, 10cm apart in a sunny spot in light moist soil.
