Glossy Cape Daisy Zulu Prince Seeds
Info: Glossy Cape Daisy Zulu Prince has beautiful creamy white flowers with a black centre framed by an orange ring. They are particularly suitable for pot culture and balcony boxes, but can also be planted out in the garden.
Glossy Cape Daisies come from South Africa and reliably produce masses of vibrant sunflowerlike blooms throughout the summer above silky silvery green foliage. The soft hairy leaves are deeply lobed. The flowers have intense colours and usually a large dark centre. Some also have a different coloured ring around the centre.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow seeds under glass from March onwards. To do this, press the seeds well into the soil with a 1-2 mm sowing depth. The best substrate to use is a damp seed sowing mix amended with sand. Germination can take up to 3 weeks. Glossy Cape Daisies require lightly moist, very well drained soil in full sun, as soggy conditions can kill them.
