Sunflower Dwarf Sunspot Seeds
Info: Sunflower Dwarf Sunspot produces single, enormous flowers on very short stems (about 50-60 cm tall). Dwarf Sunspot makes a very striking container plant and a really fun variety because it`s so strange to see giant sunflowers on such relatively short plants.
Sunflowers are grateful and undemanding garden flowers, which are particularly beautiful as background plants. These vibrant blooms are also known to attract an array of beneficial insects to the garden as well, such as butterflies, bumblebees, honeybees and birds.
Sowing & care: Sowing takes place directly from April outdoors. Sowing depth is about 1cm at a distance of 40-60 cm. A pre-culture in the house is also possible and brings an earlier bloom. Sunflowers like a sunny, wind-protected location and a loamy, nutrient-rich garden soil, which may also contain some sand for better drainage. They do not like waterlogging because then they tend to root rot. Sunflowers need many nutrients and are grateful for fertilizer or nettle liquid manure.
