Mexican Hat Seeds
Info: Mexican Hat is an unusual, stunning perennial variety originating from North America on the plains. It produces an abundance of charming red and yellow flowers with a beaded column centre aloft blue-green foliage. It is also a good cut flower which should last about a week. Mexican Hat is widely adapted and thrive on neglect in dry and sunny locations.
Sowing & care: Sow seeds thinly on good compost from 4-6 weeks prior to the last frost, under cover and with warmth provided. After all danger of frost has passed, plant out 20-40 cm apart in full sun and a well drained position, readily self seeding if left to their own devices.
