The seed trays are 85% cellulose. The manufacturer is working on being able to supply these completely peat-free in the near future. We can thereby help the environment and allow hobby gardeners to have a clear conscience. The biodegradable seed trays offer a sustainable basis for simple and successful seed propagation. As they grow, the plants can push their roots through the walls of the pot unobstructed meaning that the complete pot can be planted outside later on.
