Cress Fine Curled Seeds
Info: `Curled Leaf` Cress has all the attributes of the plain leaf variety but with a slightly smaller, more serrated leaf pattern and a slightly more delicate flavour. You only need water, a little warmth, and light, and this stuff will grow pretty much anywhere. Cress adds a distinctive peppery taste to a wide range of culinary dishes, e.g. salads, sandwiches and omelettes.
Sowing & cultivation: Seeds can be sown all year round in pots, seed trays or on cotton wool. Seeds can be sprinkled over the soil surface. Do not cover with soil and keep the seeds permanently moist. Thin out the seedlings if they are too close. Garden cress should not grow too tall or lanky before cutting. A height of 5 cm is about right. The cress will be ready for harvesting about seven days after sowing in summer and in winter eleven days.
