Cress Greek Seeds
Info: Greek Cress is a variety of garden cress that has a more pronounced, sweet nutty flavour with a slightly spicy kick and lingering peppery taste. The plant exhibits a compact growth of dark green, flat dissected leaves. It is suitable as baby leaves for using in salads, or growing to maturity and used in stir-fries, curries, chicken, salsa and as a garnish to soups.
Sowing & cultivation: Seeds can be sown all year round in pots, seed trays or on cotton wool. Seeds can be sprinkled over the soil surface. Do not cover with soil and keep the seeds permanently moist. Thin out the seedlings if they are too close. Garden cress should not grow too tall or lanky before cutting. A height of 5 cm is about right. The cress will be ready for harvesting about seven days after sowing in summer and in winter eleven days.
