Angelica Seeds
Info: Archangel is an ancient healing and spice plant from Scandinavia, which is used throughout Europe and in Chinese medicine. The aromatic root has nerve-enhancing and antiperspirant effects and is a component of many herbal liquors. Their candied stems were once an ingredient for pies and pastry dishes. Angelica forms an imposing perennial (up to 2 meters) with large flower buds. After flowering, usually in the second or third year, the plant dies, but sows itself.
Sowing & Cultivation: Angelica seeds needs cold temperatures to germinate. First, the seeds need warm conditions, then temperatures of 0°C for at least 6 weeks, then they begin to germinate after slow warming up to 15-20°C. To obtain these conditions sow in September outdoors. Sowing depth: 1-2 cm. Angelica likes a nutrient-rich, moist soil and also tolerates a cool climate. Wear gloves when harvesting.
