Oxheart Pink Tomato Seeds
Info: The Oxheart Pink Tomato is one of the most delicious varieties of beefsteak tomatoes, and with a weight of up to 500 g is also one of the largest. They ripen to a beautiful light pinkish-red, are burst-resistant, relatively low in juice, and have few seeds. The flavour is spicy with a pleasant sweetness. As the tomatoes are quite cut-resistant, they are suitable for salads and for tomato with mozzarella, but also for sauces and cooking etc. The plants grow up to approx. 100 - 150cm in height, and are therefore suitable for cultivation in pots. They are high yielding and tolerant of fungus.
Care: You can grow the Oxheart Pink tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
