Anna Russian Tomato Seeds
Info: The Anna Russian tomato is a Russian beefsteak tomato with fruits that ripen to a beautiful light red to pink colour. The fruits are heart-shaped, very fleshy and cut-resistant, and have few seeds. They have a sweet, mild flavour, and due to their firmness are very good for cutting up. They are also suitable for sauces and for general cooking. The plants are high yielding and reach a height of up to 2 metres.
Care: You can grow the Black Russian tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
