Cuore di Bue Tomato Seeds
Info: The `Corazon de Buey` tomato (in english "ox heart") is the Spanish version of the popular Italian beefsteak tomato `Cuore die Bue`. The up to 500 g weighing, fleshy, light red fruits have little seed chambers and a very thin skin, and are therefore not easily storable and not suitable for transportation. But their outstanding delicious taste is absolutely worth growing them. Their delicious rich flavour is sweet with a good acid/sugar balance, perfect for caprese, but also for pasta sauces.
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. Cover the seeds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
