Great White Purple Tomato Seeds
Info: The Great White Purple tomato is a beefsteak tomato with an interesting play of colours: cream, yellow, purple to almost black. Unripe fruits are green-violet, with increasing ripeness the green part turns yellow. The more sunlight they get, the darker the shoulders and sides become. The inner flesh of the fruit always remains yellow and is a fine spot of colour in the salad. The tomatoes have a fine fruity and tangy flavour.
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
