Mexican Honey Tomato Seeds
Info: The Mexican honey tomato is popular because of its juicy, tasty and sweet-sour fruit. It is a high-yielding red cocktail tomato and is ideal for snacking directly from the plant. The plants are grown as stake tomatoes up to 180 cm in size with rich hanging panicles. The Mexican honey tomato can tolerate drought and is robust against fungal diseases, but should still be protected from rain.
Care: You can grow the Rosella tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
