Currant Sweet Pea Tomato Seeds
Info: The Currant Sweet Pea tomato is a very high-yielding cocktail tomato which produces many of the very small fruits which grow on grapes. The small tomatoes ripen to a deep-red and have a very intensive, rich flavour with a pleasant sweetness. An ideal tomato for snacking on, as a garnish or for salad. The plants grow rather bushy and the shoots should not be pinched off. A trellis can help with growth.
Care: You can grow the Currant Sweet Pea tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
