Chadwick Cherry Tomato Seeds
Info: The Chadwick Cherry tomato originates from the USA and is a very disease-resistant cherry tomato. The red and relatively large cocktail tomatoes grow in panicles of 6 on the 2.5 metre high plants. They are extremely sweet und juicy and are most suitable for fresh consumption or as a splash of colour in salads. They are also good dried and are a perfect summery snack.
Care: You can grow the Chadwick Cherry tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
