Brown Cherry Tomato Seeds
Info: The Brown Cherry tomato is a very sweet and flavourful, reddish brown to dark brown when ripe cherry tomato. The plants are strong growing, up to 180 cm in height and are very high yielding. The small brown tomatoes have a pleasantly soft fruit flesh, and are suitable for eating directly from the plant, as a splash of colour in salads, and also for drying.
Care: You can grow the Brown Cherry tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
