Cherry Sweetie Tomato Seeds
Info: The Cherry Sweetie Tomato is a very sweet and high-yielding type of cherry tomato. The small round and red cocktail tomatoes grow in rich panicles on the 250 cm tall plants. They have an intense tomatoey flavour with a distinct sweetness. The fruit are burst-resistant and easy to store. They are great to graze on directly from the plant or as an eye-catcher in salads or on the plate. Due to their high sugar content they are also a good choice when making juice or jams, or for conserving as whole fruits.
Care: You can grow the Cherry Sweetie tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
