Schlossgarten Cherry Tomato Seeds
Info: The Schlossgarten Cherry tomato was discovered in a castle garden ("Schloss" means "castle) but no one could say which exact type it was or where it came from. But it was grown there over decades because of its exceptional aroma and rich yield. The plants grow up to 180 cm in height and bear lots of the small, red, super sweet cherry tomatoes. The plants need staking.
Care: You can grow the Schlossgarten Cherry tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
