Ildi Tomato Seeds
Info: The Ildi tomato is a yellow cherry tomato, early and high yielding. It is a cordon variety that naturally stops growing at 150 - 180 cm. The plants produce rich grapes with small oval cherry tomatoes with up to 75 fruits per truss and 3-4 trusses per plant. They have a great
staying power on the vine - the trusses keep well and can be hung in a cool storage for weeks, the tomatoes seldom drop. The yellow fruits are very sweet and tasty, yummy in salads or as a garnish on plates.
Care: You can grow the Ildi tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
