Tondino Maremmano Tomato Seeds
Info: The `Tondino Maremmano` tomato comes from central Italy and is an early ripening cocktail tomato with small, oval, red fruits that weigh about 30 g and have an excellent sweet flavour. The plants are robust and prolific and grow up to 150 cm tall. They can also be cultivated well in large pots on the balcony or terrace. Since it is a bush tomato, it does not need to be pruned.
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. Cover the seeds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
