San Marzano Mini Orange Tomato Seeds
Info: The San Marzano Mini Orange tomato is the small version of the famous San Marzano tomato. The prolific plants reach about 160 cm in height and bear huge amounts of the small, oval, dark orange and fleshy tomatoes which have few seeds. They have the typical San Marzano flavour: an intense tomato flavour with low acidity. They are excellent for fresh consumption, pasta sauces and preserving.
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. Cover the seeds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
