Glossy Rose Blue Tomato Seeds
Glossy Rose Blue Tomato Seeds
Info: The Glossy Rose Blue Tomato is a very pretty cocktail tomato with a pretty pink-purple-blue play of colours. Unripe fruits are shiny purple-green, with increasing maturity the green part becomes salmon pink, the shoulders remain purple. The more sun the variety gets, the darker it becomes. Since the calyx is protected from the sun, it remains pink and produces a beautiful star when harvested. The plants can grow up to 2 metres tall and offer a rich yield from the end of July. You can also grow them with multiple shoots.
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
