Sub Arctic Plenty Tomato Seeds

Info: The Sub Arctic Plenty Tomato was bred by the Beaverlodge Research Station in Alberta (Canada) and is particularly suitable for cool, short summers. It ripens particularly early and is also suitable for cooler regions. The plants are bushy and remain very small (only 30 - 60 cm) and their shoots do not need to be pinched off. They are suitable for growing in pots. The red, round tomatoes are relatively small (40 - 70 g), juicy with firm fruit flesh und and a good flavour.

Care: You can grow the Sub Arctic Plenty tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
