Moskvich Tomato Seeds
Info: The Moskvich tomato is a very high-quality variety from Russia that develops many deep-red, slightly flattened fruits. The tomatoes have a powerful flavour with a balanced sweet-sour relationship. They can be used in various ways, such as for boiling down or as salad tomatoes. The plants are relatively tolerant of the cold and are therefore particularly suitable for growing outdoors. As they are not particularly large growing, they can also be cultivated in pots.
Care: You can grow the Moskvich tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
