Alicante Tomato Seeds
Info: The Alicante tomato is the perfect variety for beginners. It possesses all things you look for in a tomato, including a good disease resistance. It is a good and early producer of the medium sized, bright red and juicy fruits, which are full of flavour with a a great balance of acidic and sweet. Winner of the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Award of Garden Merit. For maximum yield this cordon type tomato plant requires proper pruning.
Care: You can grow the Alicante tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.

Klasse Tomate
Die Tomatensorte Alicante ist eine wirklich in allen Belangen prima Tomate. Ich ziehe sie seit Jahren selbt an und hat mich noch nie enttäuscht. Viel besser als die hochgelobte, anfällige Harzfeuer.
