Regina Tomato Seeds
Info: The Regina tomato is the "queen" of Italian tomatoes - and a favourite for market growers. The plants reach heights up to 1,80 m and bear heavy production of middle-sized, round red fruits. The variety is known for its delicious "old-fashioned" tomato flavour with intense sweetness and little acidity. It is best for fresh consumption as well as for cooking and canning.
Care: You can grow the Regina tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
