Petomech Tomato Seeds
Info: The Petomech tomato is a classical Italian egg-tomato. The 150 cm tall plants produce lots of oval, bright red and delicious fruits with a thin, shinny skin. Their flavour is intense and sweet. They are perfect for fresh consumption, sauces and juicing. The plants are high yielding and compact and resistant against insects and diseases.
Care: You can grow the Petomech tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
