San Marzano Lampadina Tomato Seeds
Info: The San Marzano Lampadina is a variety of the famous San Marzano tomato. The productive and thermophilic plants can reach heights up to 2 meters and produce lots of bright red, egg-shaped fruits with thick flesh and few seeds. They have an excellent "old-fashioned" tomato taste and are suitable for canning, cooking and fresh use.
Care: You can grow the San Marzano Lampadina tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
