Indigo Apple Tomato Seeds
Info: The tomato `Indigo Apple` is a beautiful, high yielding, slightly flattenend tomato, that gets purple shoulders and streaks where it is exposed to the sun. The shady sides are first green and ripen to a deep red colour. Fruits are weighing up to 100 g and have a good, sweet tomato flavour. They have a high amount of anthocyanin (an antioxidant).
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. Cover the sseds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
