Pea Waverex Seeds

Info: Pea `Waverex` plant only grow up to 60 cm tall, but for such a small compact plant Waverex produces a huge amount of pods that are filled with tiny delicious sweet flavoured tender petit pois peas. They are so sweet they can be eaten raw in salads but are equally as delicious when cooked. The small growth makes it a perfect variety for growing in containers, small or exposed gardens.

Sowing & cultivation: Sow when the soil is warm to the touch, which will be some time between the middle of March and the end of April. Sowing depth: 4-5 cm. Peas require a sunny position with well-drained and nutrient-rich soil, but not acidic. Use bamboo canes, pea sticks, trellis, netting or chicken wire as a climbing support for the plants. Once you feel the seeds in the pod, the peas are ripe for harvest. The more you harvest, the more they will produce. As the containing sugar decomposes very quickly, they taste sweetest immediately after harvesting.
