Bush Bean Tendergreen Seeds
Info: The Tendergreen is a barley bean bred in 1925 by Calvin Keeney. She was one of the first stringent varieties in the world. Their elongated green pods are very aromatic and crisp. The beans have a black base color with maroon beige marbling. It is a precocious, very productive strain.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing should be about 3 cm deep. Press seeds and cover with soil. For row sowing the distance shoould be 40 cm with a grain spacing of 6 - 8 cm. When sown as a pit sowing, the distances are 30cm at 5-7 seeds per planting site. Sow the beans in humus-rich, well-drained garden soil in a warm, sheltered, sunny to partially shaded place with even moisture. If necessary, separate. The stability of the plants is improved by sowing in clumps.
