Runner bean Purple Queen Seeds

Info: The eye-catcher for the home garden! The runner bean with its up to 15 cm long, purple pods is a very productive, robust and delicious variety. Cold spring temperatures or bad weather are no problem for this bean. It is stringless and is characterized by a particularly delicate aroma. Just the thing for hearty soups, stews or fresh salads.

Sowing & cultivation: The sowing should be about 3 cm deep. Press seeds and cover with soil. For row sowing the distance shoould be 40 cm with a grain spacing of 6 - 8 cm. When sown as a pit sowing, the distances are 30cm at 5-7 seeds per planting site. Sow the beans in humus-rich, well-drained garden soil in a warm, sheltered, sunny to partially shaded place with even moisture. If necessary, separate. The stability of the plants is improved by sowing in clumps.
