Info: The yellow, slightly curved bean of the Neckargold makes tasty, meaty pods with a length of 25cm. It is a mid-early, threadless traditional variety. Because of its versatility and its high resistance to the bean mosaic virus, it is appreciated by hobby gardeners around the world. It is suitable for preserving or freezing, but also for fresh consumption. Also as a bean salad or vegetable garnish they are a delicious companion for meat dishes of all kinds.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing should be about 3 cm deep. Press seeds and cover with soil. For row sowing the distance shoould be 40 cm with a grain spacing of 6 - 8 cm. When sown as a pit sowing, the distances are 30cm at 5-7 seeds per planting site. Sow the beans in humus-rich, well-drained garden soil in a warm, sheltered, sunny to partially shaded place with even moisture. If necessary, separate. The stability of the plants is improved by sowing in clumps.
