Cauliflower All Year Round Seeds
Info: Gardeners Favourite! "All Year Round" produces good quality white heads with a mild, almost sweet flavour and is an excellent all-purpose variety for successional sowing. This variety is cold tolerant and can be harvested all year round, hence the name.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow anytime of year: Sow Jan to Feb under glass. March to May outdoors and Sept to Oct in coldframes to over winter. Sow 10mm deep into rows 20cm apart. Transplant to final growing position 5 weeks from sowing, 45 cm apart. Prefers a sunny position on a soil with plenty of well rotted organic matter, acidic soil should have lime added. Harvesting in December, when the heads are still tight and firm, cut in the morning. The curds may "yellow" if they receive too much sun, rain, or frost. Secure the plants` long leaves over the cauliflower heads to insure beautiful white heads.
