White cabbage Brunswick Seeds
Info: Brunswick is a fertile variety with flat, large and strong heads, characterized by a fine leaf quality. The individual heads can be over 5Kg heavy. The plants are very frost tolerable. The taste is particularly mild and very fine. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, for steaming, as a vegetable, for salads or sauerkraut production.
Sowing & cultivation: Both, the direct sowing into the open area, as well as the pre-planting of the plants in the early bed is possible. Seed depth should be about 1cm. The row spacing should be at least 40cm. Sow in rows of 1 1/2-fold seed starch, cover with soil and transplant later. A nutrient-rich, moist soil is recoomended. During the main growth period a re-fertilization is necessary. In order to prevent the spreading of the carbonaceous fungus, it is absolutely necessary to change the fruit. Also a good calcification should be ensured.
