Info: Cabbage Copenhagen Market is a heirloom from the beginnig of the 20th century, but still considered one of the best and tastiest cabbage varieties. It produces round and solid heads weighing up to 2.5 kilograms. This variety is quite robust and can withstand both low and high temperatures.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow successionally from July to September. Sowing depth: 12mm and space 15 to 20cm between rows. Cabbage seedlings are ready for transplanting when they are between 6 and 8cm high, around 30 to 45cm apart. Cabbage grows best in partial-shade, in firm, fertile, free-draining soil which should be slightly calcareous. Water regularly, especially in dry periods. Harvesting takes place from March/April in the following year.
