Cabbage Earliest of All Seeds
Cabbage Earliest of All Seeds
Info: Cabbage `Earliest of All` is - as the name suggests - a very early variety. The heads are ready to pick in about 2 months after germination. It produces small, round crispy heads with beautiful dark blue green leaves.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow successionally from July to September. Sowing depth: 12mm and space 15 to 20cm between rows. Cabbage seedlings are ready for transplanting when they are between 6 and 8cm high, around 30 to 45cm apart. Cabbage grows best in partial-shade, in firm, fertile, free-draining soil which should be slightly calcareous. Water regularly, especially in dry periods. Start harvesting this very early variety from Febuary.
