Brussels sprout Red Ball Seeds
Info: The slightly different Brussels sprouts. As the name suggests, this Brussels sprouts make beautiful, visually striking, red, roses. The vitamin-rich florets have a nutty-mild taste and go well with meat or fish dishes as a vegetable side dish. The variety is very productive, with stable growth. The color of the roses is intensified by cooler temperatures in autumn and winter.
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can be done outdoors from April. Sowing depth should be about 0.5-1cm. A row spacing of 50 x 50cm is required. It needs a sunny to partially shaded sheltered location. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, clay soil is optimal. The soil should be deeply loosened and enriched with garden compost and horn meal. The plants should be kept permanently moist and accumulated in early summer for greater stability.
