Brussels sprout Seven Hills Seeds
Info: Seven Hills is an old, almost forgotten Brussels sprouts variety. The variety develops small robust plants which makes it suitable for almost any weather conditions. In addition, it is extremely hardy, which can extend the harvest period from December to March. Steamed and with bacon served an absolute treat!
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can be done outdoors from April. Sowing depth should be about 0.5-1cm. A row spacing of 50 x 50cm is required. It needs a sunny to partially shaded sheltered location. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, clay soil is optimal. The soil should be deeply loosened and enriched with garden compost and horn meal. The plants should be kept permanently moist and accumulated in early summer for greater stability.
