Brussels sprout Darkmar 21 Seeds

Info: The originally from Great Britain Brussels sprouts Darkmar 21 is also known under the name "Bedford Darkmar 21". It is a very reliable, easy to grow and high yielding strain. It makes even, dark green roses with a mild-spicy taste. Brussels sprouts are a great accompaniment to fish and meat dishes.

Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can be done outdoors from April. Sowing depth should be about 0.5-1cm. A row spacing of 50 x 50cm is required. It needs a sunny to partially shaded sheltered location. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, clay soil is optimal. The soil should be deeply loosened and enriched with garden compost and horn meal. The plants should be kept permanently moist and accumulated in early summer for greater stability.
