Cabbage Red Acre Seeds
Info: The cabbage Red Acre is known for its bright, reddish-purple color. It forms up to 20cm large, spherical heads, which usually reach a weight of 2kg. Since Red Acre uses less space than other types of cabbage, it is ideal for a culture in smaller vegetable gardens. With its spicy aroma and the beautiful color it enriches every salad. But even cooked, this variety is an absolute treat.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing can take place from April in preculture. Sowing depth should be about 2cm. From late May, when no frost is expected, the young plants should be separated. It requires a row spacing of 45 x 60cm and a planting distance of 10cm. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, heavy clay soil is optimal. In a sunny spot this cabbage grows very well. Red cabbage needs a constantly moist ground, which is why regular watering is required. Even fertilization is recommended.
