Rutabaga Gowrie Seeds
Info: Gowrie is a turnip with finely structured meat and smooth texture. Their taste is less charcoal than other varieties. She has beautifully violet shoulders and a light yellow fruit pulp. Previously harvested beets are more soft and mild in taste. Late-beet turnips are firmer, with a stronger aroma. Cooked, they unfold a hearty piquant flavor. Also as a raw food or salad in an absolute treat.
Sowing & cultivation: Because the rutabaga is quite unpretentious, clayey, sandy, humus soils are excellent. They can be sown on the spot in April. The distance between rows should be 20 cm, the distance between plants should be 10-15 cm. A shelf depth of 3cm should be observed. Before sowing, mix some compost. As dryness increases the risk of falling, it should be regularly poured in dry times.
