Info: The celery Del Valdarno is an early, very productive, premium Italian variety with dark green foliage. The long stems are delicate, smooth, green and mild in taste. The stems can be eaten crisp as raw food or as a delicious vegetable garnish. The leaves are perfect for seasoning herbs. Furthermore, this delicious vegetables can also be used to refine sauces, soups or stews. It is also very easy to blanch.
Sowing & cultivation: Since celery belongs to the light nuclei, the seeds should not be covered with soil on sowing. The celery has to be put forward from March on the window sill or in a greenhouse.
