Radish China Rose Seeds
Info: China Rose is one of the oldest radish varieties. It has been cultivated since the early 18th century and was introduced to Europe from China in 1850. The traditional, hardy variety forms 20cm long, cylindrical roots with pink skin and pure white flesh. With their distinctive, slightly spicy flavor they are ideal for refining salads or sandwiches.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing can be done from March directly into the field. Seeds should be sown in 1cm. For optimal and healthy growth, the planting distance should be 4cm. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, well-drained soil is optimal. The soil should be loosened and enriched with garden compost and horn meal. Because radishes are flat-rooters, they pull your nutrients from the top soil layer. Care must be taken to ensure even moisture.
