Radish Saxa 2 Seeds
Info: The traditional Radish sort Saxa 2 is a special breed for a particularly early outdoor cultivation. This fast-growing, high-yielding variety makes crisp, round radishs with short foliage. The bright red tubers have a mild spicy aroma with white, firm flesh. They are ideal as a crisp addition to salads or hearty vegetable pans.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing can be done from March directly into the field. Seeds should be sown in 1cm. For optimal and healthy growth, the planting distance should be 4cm. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, well-drained soil is optimal. The soil should be loosened and enriched with garden compost and horn meal. Because radishes are flat-rooters, they pull your nutrients from the top soil layer. Care must be taken to ensure even moisture.
