Info: Candela Di Fuoco is an, Italian radish heirloom. It produces red, elongated roots with firm, white flesh. The mild-spicy, slightly sweet roots are up to 16 cm long and are ideal as a crispy addition to salads. Even as raw food with a dip, they are a delicious vitamin supplier.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing can be done from March directly into the field. Seeds should be sown in 1cm depth. For optimal and healthy growth, the planting distance should be 4cm. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, well-drained soil is optimal. The soil should be loosened and enriched with garden compost and horn meal. Because radishes are flat-rooters, they pull your nutrients from the top soil layer. Care must be taken to ensure even moisture.
