Info: The courgette Black Beauty Dark Fog is one of the world`s most sold varieties. This medium-early, richly-sustained courgette is distinguished by its beatiful, elongated, shining dark-green fruits. By regularly harvesting from June with a size of 20cm the fruits become more soft-fleshed with the same goodd taste. The variety grows bushy and is very productive. Black Beauty Darf Fog is ideal for fresh food or as a vegetable garnish. Also the flowers are a true delicacy.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing of the courgette seeds should be done in pots at the end of April. At a temperature of 20°C, they germinate within a week. From the end of May, when all the frosts are over, can be planted as pre-grown plants. Each plant needs about 1-1,5m². For sowing,2-3 grains per sowing site covered with earth in 3-fold seed starch and kept moist, the waekest emerged plants should be removed. Courgettes need a nutritious soil with a lot of compost.
