Lettuce Analena Seeds
Info: Analena is a butterhead lettuce that builds great, attractive, green heads with a good head closure. It can be harvested for a long period. These excellent quality, high-performance heads are resistant to aphids: Nasonovia ribis-nigri. Analena can be cultivated all-year, even in in autumn and winter when grown in a greenhouse.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow outdoors successively between March to August. Seed depth 6 - 12 mm in short rows about 20 - 30 cm apart. When the seedlings are about 2cm tall, thin them out. A rich soil is excellent for lettuce, but the crop will also do well in average garden soil. Fertilize the soil with compost or horn meal before sowing. Watering is essential, the plants need almost constantly moist ground as dry soil will cause the plants to put their energy into producing flowers.
